Jeff Donahue serves as the Instrumental Music Director for Southeastern Local School District (2003-present). He graduated in 1995 from Fairfield Union High School, obtained his Bachelor of Music in Instrumental Music Education from Ohio University in 1999, and a Master of Music in Instrumental Music Education from Ohio University in 2008. Further professional development includes coursework at Capital University, ITSCO, Learner's Edge, membership with the Ohio Music Education Association attending annual professional development conferences, and trumpet player in the Great Seal Community Band and the Chillicothe Big Band.
Mr. Donahue is a Past President of the Ross County Band Director Association and current Treasurer (2023-2024). From 2000-2003, Mr. Donahue served as the Assistant Band Director for Waverly City Schools. Responsibilities included team teaching Grades 7-12 Band classes and working with all aspects of the band program, 6th grade general music, and elementary music classes. In 1999, Mr. Donahue had the opportunity to travel abroad to South America where he served as a Volunteer Missionary for one school year as the Music Director for the Santa Cruz Christian Learning Center in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. Responsibilities included teaching elementary music, handbell choirs, and high school music lessons. |
